Not indicate the presence of Office for Mac 2011 so I was concerned that it may install the new 2016 version and either remove or somehow impair my existing 2011 Outlook and Office data files. When I attempted to open the 2016 DMG file and complete the install, the installer did I recently purchased a local copy perpetual license of Office for Mac 2016. I have a MacBook Pro with a local copy perpetual license install of Office for Mac 2011. I am posting this new question as I have not been able to find an answer on related postings involving Office for Mac 2016.
